M3fans c hing mentioned in his thread "A+lenses", about the 50 Jahre 50/2
which should be the same as the 50/2 BP, in the MP Classic BP set
Here you'll see them side by side.
Although they should be identical in dimensions, the BP does look and feel a bit smaller ... ... error of our perception!
However, the paint texture of BP feel "more comfortable" in hand, than the silver chrome version.
M3fans c hing also showed a picture of the back of this lens.
But I don't quite get his meaning.
Here I also show the petpet of the two lenses I have in hand.
About modern BP lenses,
I think the following three are best made, glossy, rich in paint texture, and solidly built.
1. 50/2 of MP Classic set
2. BP 50/1.4 preA
3. BP 35/2 ASPH
To me, their BP are better than even the BP 50/1.4A, from the MP3 set.
The BP of this would appear a bit dull, when put side by side with the above three (the left most one).
