haha i find the noctilux quite smooth and not that hard to use really as some people make it out to be. I find myself having the same in focus rate as my 50 asph. The long focus throw is managable, one can just pre adjust the throw a bit to get into the range of the subject distance so when the camera is drawn to the eye, less turning is required.

, its all i use these days on the m9, to me the versions don't matter much, but i wanted one closer to my birth year
