The barrel and rings of the APO-Summicron-M 50 mm f/2 ASPH. are precisely machined from aluminium and then perfected with a titanium-coloured, anodised finish. The focusing scale distances in feet and the focal length engraving are highlighted in red. On this lens, the special edition serial number is engraved on the bayonet ring.

This is the first time that this lens has been produced with an anodised titanium finish. The ‘Titanium Edition’ represents pure perfection in their fusion of mechanical and optical engineering and premium design. The finishing touch to this outstanding lens is the finest-quality.
