This time both photos appear to be in focus.

AA has incredible resolution as advertised.

Elcan looks flatter but some c-hings may find its lower contrast more appealing.

Both are winners.

The only loser is M240. Auto white balance sucks, especially for AA.

Yes. they are all by f/2, in this set, AA wins in sharpness.

In my limited experience, without scientific proof, I find Elcan glass seems somehow better in lighting control.
It also seems they are very good in control "light fare" or common difficult lighting conditions.

Elcan also always produce " true" colour. In simple words, what colour you see is what colour you get. Not much cosmetic or character like others.

It could be the military DNA it owns.

Just my 2 cents

when I played around with the newly bought AA, I didn't know whereabout the Elcan was

but then one of my good friends here said he wanted to have an AA asap, so I let it go.
I only "re-discovered" this Elcan yesterday
