(Of course there are a few expert c hings already posting some very nice photos. But considering the number of 1.4 lenses sold, the frequency of it's use is relatively scarce ...)

btw, what's the advantage of having such a fast speed in a relatively wide lens ？

brag factor! hahaha just joking, i can see how the wide and fast lens would be useful to me, i just don't like the size and the fact i can't see the framing within the viewfinder on camera (for any wide lens) is bothersome for me.

28 Lux will definitely a worthwhile lens to be considered if it is smaller and lighter for travelling.

the reason for having a fast wide cos you can 'see' everythings, but you can 'blur' everythings (the subject close enough).

I seldom see people use Lux 21.  I tried it but find it big and very difficult to use, so I didn't buy it at the end.  I wonder how many people use it often.

Just went to the Leica site and looked at the technical data of this 28/1.4A
The MTF starts at f2, yes not f1.4! But I think it is a mistake, the "f2" chart should be for f1.4, I think.
On the MTF, 28/2A looks best, much better than 28/1.4A. The small 28/2.8A comes at second, still far better vs 28/1.4A
Weight: 28/1.4 (440g), 28/2 (270g), 28/2.8 (180g)
At this stage, it seems the max aperture f1.4 is the only point for getting this lens.
