Ok, if I go to Tibet I'll try to put my ZM15/2.8 to good use then.
Actually, though it seems to be contrary to your wishes, for your usage I would recommend VM 21/1.8A for a number of reasons:
- Some subject separation by DOF is possible
- Smaller, lighter, and not as cumbersome as 21/1.4A
- Very close focus possible (up to 0.5m)
- Ok decent optics (decent quality @1.8; very little distortion and vignetting but some chromatic aberration)
- It seems that you can accept the "look" of VM, unlike some other c-hings. (Actually, I don't particularly prefer VM look.)
- Good price!
