YA 我都覺太SENSITIVE.. 自己試過M9 同 A7 比.. M9真係郁小小 WB 就好唔同

I used both lens extensively in real person. Not just sharpness as I think both are very sharp lens. But the micro contrast and high resolving power and colour of APO will give the APO a very 3D lively look to the pics (Not those copy and paste effect of 0.95, and not those over sharp contrast boost 50 1.4 ASPH). The APO is little similar to 11663 but even more so. Pictures are mostly very stunning with very very lovely colours!

Elcan have the old lens look with lower contrast. Pics are a little flat in comparison. It is lens with not much character. A little too neutral and lack MSG to my taste.

For old lens mood and look, I prefer some other Leica legendary lens then ELCAN.. may be just me.  For high resolution, I really love APO 50.

Even use camera tripod, M9 and M240 WB will behave different pics after pics... very annoying.

To my eyes, both 50AA and Elcan50 deliver very high resolution via M240. 50AA is a little bit more contrasty than Elcan50, and Elcan50's mid tone is really really natural. I will choose Elcan50 over 50AA on M240 for the more pleasant look. Wish to see their performance on MM. Thanks for sharing!
