I think I kind of like it. But I don't like that it only has 12mp. How come it is not 24MP?

Oh, I don't like its auto lens cover when open. Think it looks ugly.

This is likely the most powerful point and shoot camera available now.
Will be re-badaged as Leica D-Lux and sell for 50% more....
Guess panasonic will release a same M43 body with interchangeable lens mount  very soon...

yes. the collapsible lens cover is optional. it really looks too ugly.

I bought this camera and like it very much!  It definitely has some Leica feel in the output.  Photo is very sharp.  Sold the RX100 MKI for this and no regret.  I just put on 43mm filter and didn't bother with the ugly cover.

Bigger and less pixels may work better than smaller and more pixels.  That's always been Leica philosophy.  S-series only has 37.5M pixels on 30x45 sensor, which is less than some DSLRs with FF sensors.
