Thank you inzite Hing and Sawlo Hing for your reply. It was a late night and I didn't extend the reason behind the question. I have a voigtlander 35mm f1.2 apparently is doing the job, both in day and low light situation. However the more I shoot with this lens, more of the photos are soft and giving me classic feel while wide open, love it but sometimes I just want to capture the landscape or decorations inside the house and this beautiful lens just not sharp enough (or not pop enough for my taste), especially when I compared it to my old 50mm summicron DR. Then again extra f stop would be helpful in low light situation for 50mm (with film).
So I have ask myself if I kinda upgrade my 35mm gear or should I get 50mm f1.4 cover?
50mm APO is the king of sharpness but there is not much different with film and doesn't help for one more f stop. The 35mm summilux FLE have fixed the focus shift problem but with the previous one I could use live view digital to actually adjust it myself.
So base on the all four, which one would everybody use most? Which one actually give best sharpness in low light condition (in practical way)? Thank you |
