Not for 90mm, and also there's motion blur. 1/180s was necessary.
Using 1/60s results in 1-in-4 chance of success. But a scene occurs only once. Some people call this a "decisive moment".
I'm not saying that small aperture lenses have no place in low-light photography. I just happen to think both big aperture and small aperture lenses have their places. I also think it is more bravado than fact that large aperture is for DOF control only, not for gathering light.
