Sorry, folks, I can only comment on the body itself and also the OOC JPG output, but not photos converted from RAW, as I'm still waiting for Aperture to support X-T1's RAW file:
1. From the OOC JPG files, I see great Fuji color, good DR & good WB. ISO performance seems good up to ISO 3200, but since the current firmware does not allow NR to be turned off completely and I can't play with the RAW files for now, this is hard to tell.
2. I love the overall control of the body. Basically I can take shoots without even going into the menu. This is also the reason why I bought it. But as other reviews commented, the 4-way buttons and the dial on the back of the body are really difficult to press and roll. Really need to get used to it. The EVF is the best I've ever tried. But of course, still some lagging at low lights. I found the grip is a bit too small for me having big hands, especially when using lens like 56/1.2. But I got the battery grip also. It balances the whole thing. A must have item, I would say, and it won't add on a lot of weight to it. AF speed is quick most of the time. Definitely not the world's fastest as Fujifilm claimed, but decently fast, as vs. Leica's manual focus ... :-)
3. One thing that you folks may have heard already that the 1st batch X-T1 has got some light leaking problem - both from the cable socket side and from the focus assist light, that if you point a strong LED light towards the cable sockets with the door cover opened and towards the focus assist light, light will get in. Fujifilm USA has announced a free fix for it, but Fujifilm HK seems still ignoring it at the moment. I don't plan to get it fixed, as I won't take long exposure with high ISO with the cover door opened, and frankly who will point a strong LED light towards the focus assist light when taking a shot!?!? But many people on Dpreview forum seem jumping ups and downs about this issue.
That's really about it. Overall speaking, together with the 56/1.2 & 23/1.4, I like the whole setup a lot. But I don't think it's one that everyone will appreciate. So try it first before buying it. Otherwise you may end up turning into one of those people on Dpreview forum who keep on complaining this & that, or comparing it against the OMD, which is totally pointless to me.
Again, sorry, no photos yet. Will sure post some when Apple releases the RAW support for Aperture.
