I still remember that morning.  Lighting was like magical.  However, what makes this photo looks so nice tonal-wise was, in my opinion, Ilford FP4+.   It seems to me that the film always adds a layer of transparency (something like glow) to the picture, at least under my development combination.  The flip side, of course, the film can never be as "black" and "white" as others.

I was at the right place and at the right time....  But with a wrong film inside the magazine.  Had I used more saturated films like Provia, the photos could be nicer.

I went to Mongkok yesterday in an attempt to stock up some films.  To my surprise, I was able to find unexpired Fuji Reala (120) and FP100C.  Of course, I almost bought all of them

By the way, I have changed the subject of this thread.  It is now called "My life with film photograph".  I will use this thread to share my experience with film with other likeminded members.

Work has been busy and I haven't had the chance to take photos for a while.  To keep this thread moving, I am posting some old works of mine.  The photo was taken like 5 or 6 years ago with a Leica 50mm DR (which I no longer own...)

Here are a few more of my old photos.  Again, Fuji Neopan 400 developed under Kodak HC110.  Lens was Leica 50mm DR.  Unfortunately, Fuji Neopan 400 is now part of the photographic film history, and Leica 50mm DR my memory.

I missed taking photo a lot.  I must do some next week, and go to the darkroom over the weekend.

Here are a few more from Fuji Neopan 400.  Unfortunately, I can no longer buy that film, and I do not think I have them in stock anymore.  

(Technical: Leica 35mm Summilux pre-asph (Germany); Kodak HC110)
