thanks 18x24!! the dragonfly shots were approx. 4-6ft, with lens head removed and put on to a Hasselblad variable extension tube+Hasselbald 16mm extension....haha..the setup looks very ugly :):)

58mm rings can be brought at Apliu St, Sham Shui Po
focus range for set up in picture = approx. 1m to 7m. To focus infinity and even closer, put the lens head on Leica bellows II or Hasselblad bellows. I've both & like Hassy better
Also, can this set up focus to infinitive?
Other than the 16598, is the 58mm screw thread to Hasselblad mount custom made or found off the shelf.

excellent.........
some sharing: this lens is prone to flare and not a good choice for high contrast scenes or anything with direct light source. I spent extensive efforts to avoid those situations.
18x24 ching, thanks for your kind words. Much of the pictorial quality was contributed by the long focal length generating compressed blur forming the pleasant bokeh
