Received just for a few days. Workmanship is very nice. I have several vintage camera bags, including the rather rare Zeiss Ikon Omnica for Contax RF, but this one is really classic.

Good old days people could, probably, afford more time to admire elegance.

Nowadays (most) people are always in a rush, and will notice only eye-catching (good or bad) stuffs ...

Bad taste seems to be only seen in modern days and in luxury goods.

Perhaps the rich and noble class in the old days was more demanding.
And their discerning taste by heritage naturally eliminated any lousy and stinky designs.
