我对 Elac 的新製喇叭一向有点意见，觉得高频太特出，低频有点不是味道。但话说回来，好几年前曾聽过一对几十年前的Elac 座地大喇叭，感觉声音非常甜美，低频飽满而不肥，高频量夠而不刺耳，中频丰厚刚好，箱身用上厚重实木製造，份量十足，而且价钱亦非常吸引，实实在在是对好货。但问题是其体形比我的 "4呎" 还要大一点，实在放不下。

i have a small room so I am not sure if rear port ELAC would work well.. Is ELAC sensitive to what amp to use? If I am using Japanese AV receiver to push them, would it be a waste?

goldmund , d 合拼amp , 已經好親民啦 !
前 , 後 amp 就要求 , 不盡相同 , 動輒都100k樓上 .

c hing , 5 介意可入二手 , 聽完5岩再換 ,好似 leica ....

icic, i don't see too many on sale at r33 but i would probably prefer the pass alpha int-150 though.

Tested FS407 and FS409. Like FS407 a lot but fell in love with FS409. Too expensive so saving $$....

what amp is good for the 409? is goldmund int suitable for them? I need small speakers but my wife probably won't let me put them on those speaker stands...

我個人會揀 FS 407 , 已滿足現在慾望 , 需要啦.
但如果要再升級 , 我5 揀 FS409 , 會轉去 AVALON

Bookshelf speakers with stand will basically take up more or less same space as floor stand speakers of the same grade. Yet, in general, floor stand speakers can give better base and music cohesiveness because of their physical size.

If bookshelf speakers are not placed on speaker stands, it will be quite difficult to resolve the problems of vibration and resonance. The sound will easily become blur, especially when turning up the volume
