My recent vintage naim experiement: Nat02 tuner, Naim 42 pre, hi cap, 135 to pair with Rogers 15ohm 3/5a; except the olive nat02, they are all chrome bumper.
This combo delivers nothing but music. It is so soothing and relaxing to listen to rthk4 broadcast programme through this system at night returning home after long day work.
I have another much more sophisticated playback system but rarely listen to these days.
I don't have a set budget but I plan to get a floor standing speakers that can be placed close to a wall and works well in a relatively small room. The sales at Radar recommends NEAT Motive 1 which i guess would work well with NAIT 5si? He doesn't recommend ProAc as he thinks they don't work well when placed too close the wall. My other speaker choice would probably be SF toy tower..
