想買第一部菲林機，2揀1，M6 classic, Zeiss Ikon

You can't go wrong with M6 classic (or if you are willing to spend more you can consider MP). If you do a search you'll find people have a lot of good things to say about M6 as a good first Leica/film body.

If you buy Zeiss Ikon as your first M body, you will think about buying a Leica body later anyway...

You can consider the Ikon if these are important to you:
- you like to shoot 28mm - the Ikon has the best 28mm viewfinder
- you will use a lot of large lenses (e.g. VC 35/1.2) - Ikon's viewfinder is positioned further away from the mount, so the lens will block less of the viewfinder when compared with Leica M bodies

And of course there are problems with the Ikon:
- It's not a Leica :-)
- Not much accessories, like grip, trigger winder, etc.
- It feels plastic (when compared with Leica of course), but you can't do anything about it (as far as I know).  My Bessa R4M also feels plastic, but it becomes much better after adding the Bessa Winder.  
- The viewfinder light meter is difficult to read in bright day light (and you will shoot film in bright day light!)

沒什麼人知道，Zeiss Ikon的top plate是塑膠造的，所以拿上手的感覺較輕。
表面觸感像是金屬，這因可能是噴上了金屬的塗層，但當找師傅拆開top plate反轉一看，便可看見灰色的塑膠物料。
不過，Ikon的viewfinder明亮程度確是無人能及。像中似乎比現場的光度更加明亮。

i have / had both cameras. zeiss ikon is a good camera. but i think M6 is better. better feel. more solid. more historical.

Both cameras are about the same price, but if you talk about the classic look between these two, I will choose Zeiss Ikon over M6. M6 is a bit more modern feel.
You can have a look both cameras at the shop of C9.99,  both are good cameras so comparing quality and build is just personal choice and M6 seems to edge out of it, apart from the view finder Zeiss Ikon is better.

If I'm you for the first M camera, I would get M2 / M3 rather than M6, please note that M6 TTL is computer based for metering, so there will be problem once the macro chip is fail and resulting expensive replacement from German Factory. M6 classic can be fixed by experience Cfu in Hong Kong.

我2部都有過, 最終留ZI...(再最終我留左CLE 因為我要細部輕便).....我既個人原因係

1. VF ZI 正過M6 多多聲, 清, 大, 明亮
2. ZI 有A mode, M6 manual 雖然有測光但相比之下變左慢半拍
3. 大家都做一樣既野, 影相絕對稱職 但我中意輕身啲舒服啲

以上都係無品牌需要為由. 純粹意見分享

I agreed with #1 & #2, especially when some said the M6 VF sometimes has flare problem.
  
On the other hand, I myself also love Leica's solid body and shutter as well. Probably I may die before it.

If it is not a only body in your life. i will suggest you go for ZI and get M3 for leica body.

M6....it is not bad at all...but not the classic one.

M6 係一部有測光既manual 機  感覺係 半桶水.... 因為無A MODE.

我個人覺得MANUAL機一係返去玩M3/MP

No it's not, there are a whole bunch of defects during the manufacturing period.

我自己一直也沒有想過這樣用,跟Leica相比的話,只覺得ZI美中不足就是快門震動,原來這樣可把震動減少!謝謝青木兄!等我試試先!
